Terms

Terms of Service

Effective 7 July 2026

1. About these terms

These terms govern your access to the Unite Atelier website and Members Lounge, and any events you book through us. By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Membership

  • Membership is personal to you and may not be transferred.
  • You must be 18 or older and provide accurate contact details.
  • Members receive first access to new events, insider previews and priority booking windows.
  • We may refuse, suspend or close accounts that abuse the service, harass other members or breach these terms.

3. Bookings, tickets and payments

Individual event terms (price, capacity, cancellation, refund windows) are published with each event and form part of these terms once you book. Where an event is sold out, priority booking does not guarantee availability.

4. Your account and security

Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account. Notify us at hello@uniteatelier.co.za if you suspect unauthorised access.

5. Acceptable use

  • Do not attempt to breach the security of the service or other users.
  • Do not scrape, resell or misuse member data.
  • Do not upload unlawful, harmful or infringing content.

6. Intellectual property

The Unite Atelier name, mark, editorial content, photography and site design remain our property. You may not copy or reuse them without written permission.

7. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unite Atelier is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under South African law, including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act.

8. Closing your account

You may close your account at any time from Profile Settings. Access is revoked immediately and personal information is permanently deleted after a 30-day grace period, as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute is subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
